Welcome to WhereToPodcast. These terms govern your use of wheretopodcast.com, including our studio directory, online booking, and related services. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What WhereToPodcast is

WhereToPodcast is a directory and booking platform that connects people who want to record podcasts ("guests") with independent recording studios ("studios"). Studios are independent businesses — we don't own, operate, or control them, and a listing on the site is not an endorsement. When you book a session, your agreement for the recording services is with the studio, not with us.

Accounts

Some features require an account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to book a session or list a studio.

Bookings and payments

Payments for bookings are processed by Stripe and go directly to the studio, which is the merchant of record; WhereToPodcast charges studios a service commission. Prices, packages, add-ons, and any same-day or after-hours charges are set by each studio and shown before you pay. Bookings are confirmed when payment completes (or, for request-to-book studios, when the studio accepts).

Cancellations, changes, and refunds

Each studio sets its own cancellation policy, which is shown at booking. Refunds under that policy may be returned to your card or, where you choose, as store credit. Date and time changes may be allowed depending on the studio's settings and policy. Studios can also cancel or reschedule a booking — if that happens you'll be notified and refunded according to what the studio issues.

Store credit, prepaid bundles, gift cards, and referrals

Store credit, prepaid hour bundles, gift cards, loyalty points, and referral rewards are held with a specific studio (or group of commonly owned studios) and can only be used for bookings there. They have no cash value and aren't transferable except as described on the site. Gift card and bundle purchases are payments to the studio. If a studio leaves the platform or permanently closes, unused balances may become unusable; contact the studio directly in that case.

Studio listings

Studios are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, pricing, availability, and for honoring confirmed bookings. We may edit, unpublish, or remove listings at our discretion, including unclaimed listings created from public information. If a listing describes your business, you can claim it for free or ask us to remove it.

Reviews

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and follow common-sense rules: no spam, no harassment, no false claims. Reviews marked "Verified booking" come from accounts that completed a booking through the site. We may moderate or remove reviews and may permanently delete those that violate these rules.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site: no scraping at scale, no attempting to bypass fees, no booking under false identities, no abusing referral or credit systems, and no interfering with the service's operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any studio or session. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WhereToPodcast's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees we received from the transaction giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date above, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
